Vikings running back Adrian Peterson came oh-so-close to beating Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record, but he's now more determined than ever to do it in 2013.

Peterson, who runs the 40 yard dash in 4.38 seconds, was asked recently about the possibility of being named the league's MVP. His answer can inspire anyone - athlete or not. "It would mean a lot to win the MVP," Peterson said. "I want to win it, and I think I've worked hard enough, but it's not going to define me. Inside, I'm my own MVP."
