Mike O'Brien graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School ('04) and the University of Michigan, school of Journalism. Mike landed his first job in journalism working for The Hill newspaper, a publication which covers politics with an emphasis on Capitol Hill. He currently works for NBC News and extensively covered the presidential campaign. He traveled to both national party conventions, Wisconsin for its gubernatorial recall, to New Hampshire for its primary in January and back to the Midwest in February to cover Michigan's pivotal primary.
Luke Russert is an American television and radio personality and a correspondent for NBC News. Russert co-hosted the sports talk program called 60/20 Sports on XM Satellite Radio with James Carville. NBC News then hired Russert as a correspondent covering youth issues as part of its coverage of the 2008 presidential election. He was assigned to cover both the Democratic and Republican conventions. Since May 2009, he has worked for NBC News on Capitol Hill as a congressional correspondent covering the House of Representatives. In 2011, he also reported on Hurricane Irene for NBC. On May 19, 2012, Russert debuted as a rotating (Fill-In) news anchor on NBC's Weekend Today.
