Description
Sonoma Mountain is the birthplace of Coturri wine. Coturri Winery has over thirty years of viticulture and winemaking history. We planted our first vineyard in 1975; five acres of Zinfandel, that is is now certified organic by CCOF and biodynamic by Demeter. The wine produced from this dry-farmed vineyard is fermented on the natural yeast. Coturri Winery utilizes only natural yeast in all of their wines and never uses any sulfites or chemicals or preservatives. All grapes used in our winemaking process are certified organic and some, certified biodynamic. The only ingredient in all Coturri wines is one and one only: just grapes. We believe in shepherding the winemaking process and never interfere with the natural rhythms of the earth. Coturri wines are meant to challenge your palate and the way you think about wine. Each bottle of Coturri wine is truly an artisanal expression of handcraftmanship that reflects the origin of the grapes. Great wine begins in the vineyard and enjoyed in the glass.
