Description
Dark garnet-purple with a magenta rim. High pitched, explosive aromas of blackberry, smoked game, black olives, and violets leap from the glass. Very Syrah! The wine enters full and rich, with flavors of blackberry and violet enveloping the tongue. Suave tannins from mid-palate through the finish provide plenty of clarity and cut. Delicious now, optimum drinking should be between release and 2017.
