La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant in the heart of downtown Berkeley. Traditional breakfast and lunch bistro fare are combined with rustic Provençal dinners in a warm and charming atmosphere.

The restaurant's owner Dorothée Mitrani-Bell, a graduate from UC Berkeley's Environment design program (1994), won an award excellence in  1998 for "outstanding storefront improvements" and rehabilitation of it's beautiful 1875 building.
