Learn to use the same style sit-inside, single-person kayaks that adults use to navigate San Francisco Bay, our coastal shores, and the world!  Our highly skilled staff will teach participants to develop and refine open-water paddling techniques, water safety and rescues. The class is taught in closed-cockpit sea kayaks.  We have a range of kayak sizes to accommodate the different needs and abilities of students.  Students may also use double, sit-on-top kayaks for a day.  All of our sea kayaking camps are held at the UC Aquatic Center, in the Berkeley Marina. We require that all campers be able to swim.
