Gail Rothschild has created work commissioned by the Bronx Museum of the Arts, PS 1/MOMA, Artists Space, The Socrates Sculpture Park, the Hudson River Museum, and the deCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA, also the University of Massachusetts, University of Arkansas, and the University of Akron.

Her pieces are held in the permanent collections at: the University of Memphis and Amherst College and in private collections in: Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Connecticut, Oklahoma, London and Dubai.
