Montclair Golf Club is a private, member-owned country club and is one of the premier private clubs in New Jersey.  Founded in 1893, the club is generally acknowledged as the 13th oldest golf club in the nation, with a rich history and respect for its traditions.  It sits on 300 acres nestled in the lush, rolling hills of northern New Jersey, just 20 miles west of New York City.  The golf courses at Montclair Golf Club were designed by two legends of the game, Donald Ross and Charles Banks.  Generations of distinguished members have maintained and improved the courses since; notably the premier architect of the game, Robert Trent Jones, and more recently, the internationally recognized Rees Jones.  Our course is considered one of the most unique golf setups in the nation with thirty-six well-manicured championship holes laid out in four 9-hole courses.  Each course begins and ends at the clubhouse.
