An NCAA champion, she was the first Tennessee Lady Vol to pursue a professional track and field career before completing her collegiate eligibility.  She is now back at Tennessee finishing her degree while training at the Tom Black Track.

She is the founder of Test Me I'm Clean, a charity dedicated to combating the abuse of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs.
