The Weinstein Company (TWC) was created by Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the brothers who founded Miramax Films Corporation in 1979. TWC is a multi-media company that officially launched on October 1, 2005. Recent films include the 2013 Academy Award winners Django Unchained and Silver Linings Playbook and previous Academy Awards for best picture with films The Artist, Iron Lady, My Week With Marilyn, Undefeated, and Bully.
