Description

If you're looking to add a little exotica to your life, you've come to the right place! Skillfully carved and expertly sanded, each Santa Cruz Tiki is a unique yet affordable work of art that makes a striking addition to any home, garden or place of business.

Santa Cruz Tikis are the passion of local carver Wilhelm Zilliacus. When not riding the waves at Pleasure Point, Will can be found wielding a chainsaw and turning reclaimed redwood into powerful polynesian-style sculpture. Will began carving Tikis in the late nineties, after hauling home a sizeable driftwood log from a nearby beach. He's not sure which South-Pacific deity possessed him to begin carving into the wood, but he was quite happy with the resulting sculpture, which still resides in his garden.

The popularity of Will's work has grown with each passing year, and his Tikis can be found all over Santa Cruz, most notably at Pleasure Point, a Surf City landmark where his giant Jay Moriarty Memorial Tiki stands watch over the local surfers.
