The 2nd annual Strollers in the Front 5K Chicago is a uniquely family-friendly run/walk with strollers leading the pack, a Kids Dash and a family festival. One hundred percent of fundraising efforts of Strollers in the Front 5K Chicago participants will benefit Neighborhood Parents Network.

Unlike other 5Ks, which relegate parents with strollers to the back of the pack and separate Moms and Dads, Strollers in the Front 5K Chicago celebrates kids in strollers – and the Moms and Dads that are pushing them along.

It’s the first 5K designed from a family's perspective. That means little things like portapotties big enough for a parent and kid to fit in together, nursing stations, changing stations, big things like fun activities for kids, including a Kids Dash complete with their own bibs and kids t-shirts, and, of course – if you couldn’t tell it from the name - Strollers in the Front on the route.
