Exhibits are designed to provide play that encourages a child's development of social, imaginative, physical and problem solving skills. Our new outdoor natural play-scape is where children can explore in our stream and sand play areas during Spring, Summer and Fall. Kids can also slide and create mud pies and plant in the garden. Watch for special nature programs about bugs and animals after the snow melts.

Boreal Mountain Resort averages 400 inches of snow a year, and features snowmaking on 80 percent of it's terrain. There are 4 terrain parks at Boreal Mountain Resort. The resort generally operates from November to April, operating 9am - 9pm. Boreal Mountain Resort has a base elevation of 7,200 feet and a summit elevation of 7,700 feet . 30 percent of it's terrain is rated easiest. 55 percent is intermediate. 15 percent is most difficult.
