Description
This small cabin, located on Rocky Bound Pond in Croydon, NH (35 minutes from Hanover, 20 minutes from Sunapee), is quiet and will sleep 4 people comfortably and 6 in a pinch. Includes a canoe and two kayaks. You can pick your week in July or August, Saturday afternoon arrival to Saturday morning departure. Ideal for swimming and fishing too. A wonderful place to retreat to or your base for other activities.
Within the wider vicinity (20-40 minutes drive away) there are many attractions, including Sunapee Lake and State Park (boat rides, hiking, shopping, dining), Mt. Kearsarge (hiking), Hanover (Dartmouth College), Woodstock and Queechee VT (museums, shopping).
Special Instructions
The cabin has an indoor small bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. It also has hot and cold water and electricity. The tap water is lake water so is not for drinking; but there is a separate freestanding water fountain for drinking water. It doesn't have a telephone, a TV, or internet connection. It has a gas stove and oven and a refrigerator.
