A student intersession is unique to Morey.  It’s an opportunity for students to participate in academic exploration and experiential learning.  We offer intersessions, which allow students to explore their passions. These experiences range from rock climbing, exploring the Denver zoo from “behind the scenes” to “backstage” access to the DCPA, to out of state trips to Washington, DC. The intersession experience encourages students to explore or address a burning question, interest, idea or concept in non-traditional ways. It provides an opportunity for teachers and staff to accentuate the current curriculum doing something entirely different from the traditional classroom instruction but relating experience back to what students are being taught day to day.
