In the early 1900s William Paca’s original garden was lost–buried under a 200 room hotel known as Carvel Hall.  In the late 1960s Historic Annapolis acquired the property and set about restoring the garden to its original colonial elegance.  Today you can stroll the garden just as William Paca did 250 years ago. Maintaining a two-acre garden isn’t cheap.  By selecting "Buy Now", you will help Historic Annapolis and its many volunteers who water the plants, cut the grass, pull the weeds, clean the fish-shaped pond, purchase mulch, and paint the Chippendale bridge and outbuildings.
