18kt yellow gold diamond and emerald ring. This ring has one center emerald, oval in cut, with a size of 1.1x8.0mm. Surrounding center emerald are 12 brilliant cut diamonds with a weight of 10pts each and 6 brilliant cut diamonds with a weight of 7pts each. Approximate total weight is 1.70 cts with a color of H and a clarity of si1. Appraisal by Paul's Jewelers, Lafayette, LA - $12,500. Certified copy of the appraisal will be supplied to the winning bidder.

Special Instructions

Jewell Lowe was the founder of the first outpatient mental health treatment center in the United States.  Here in Lafayette, LA she was the driving force behind the beginning of 232-HELP, and acquired the first 211 identity in Louisiana, for Lafayette.  She traveled all six continents searching for other countries' solutions to their citizen's needs.  She was an avid jewelry collector, and acquired jewels from India, Russia, China, Germany, England and other countries.  The Emeralds offered in this auction are from England.
