Description

The past thirty years in education has seen a remarkable transformation.  In the older days, many students would collectively sit in desks and receive collective instruction from an instructor.  In today’s environment, particularly at St. Peter’s, the classroom emphasis is more focused on the student and his or her needs and achievements.   This year’s classroom project shows this transformation in allegory, with individual hands of the class, each in a different and brilliant color, symbolically touching a less colorful past.   From their own hands, the St. Peter’s symbol and the motto emerge to accent the transformation, while the uncovered white spaces of the desk show that the process of education is continually improving and evolving.  Let it be truly said:  Learning to love, loving to learn is the St. Peter’s way of life.
