Head to Planet Granite and learn how to belay with your child, partner or friend with these two beginner belay lessons! Belay lessons teach you to manage the ropes for the climber on our taller walls. Planet Granite offers belay lessons every day except Wednesdays. A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and one day pass. At the end of class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day! To earn a permanent belay card, each person will need to come back on a separate day and take our belay test (no reservation necessary -- however during busy hours, there might be a wait to take the test).
