Description

The aroma of a whole roast pig; the rum-based island libations adorned, of course, with tropical fruit and umbrellas; the sweet scent of the lush fresh leis flown in and draped around your necks and your grass skirts swaying as you dance the hula – all will transport you to the Big Island without having to leave San Francisco! Urban parents Diane and Andy Philips invite you to a lovely luau in their backyard paradise in the City. Along with co-hosts Julie and Charlie Siler and Renata and Alex Miller, a full Hawaiian feast will be provided complete with hula lessons, live ukulele music and even signed copies of Urban parent Julie Siler’s book Lost Kingdom: Hawaii's Last Queen, the Sugar Kings and America's First Imperial Adventure. Please join us – or as the Islanders put it: Ho’olu komo la kaua! You and your hoalohas (close friends) will be very hau’oli (happy) with the ho’okipa (hospitality) of this traditional luau. You will, however, have to bring your own grass skirts.

This Live Event Item offers Absentee Bidding.
