This is a mixed case of “6 x 5 x 6” California pinot noir.  It includes wine from 6 vintages, 5 producers, and 6 appellations.  The collection features some of the most highly acclaimed producers of California pinot noir, Patz & Hall, Siduri, and Testarossa.  (For instance, Matt Kramer of Wine Spectator has said:  “To taste Siduri is to taste some of the best pinot noir made in America today.)  This case includes single-vineyard designate wines, including the highly-acclaimed Pisoni Vineyards from two different producers.  As noted wine critic, Robert Parker, Jr., has said, “Gary Pisoni and, of course, his vineyard, respectively, are the rock star and the grand cru site of the Santa Lucia Highlands.”  The ’09 Patz & Hall Chenoweth and Hyde received 93 and 91 point ratings, respectively, from Wine Spectator.  Also included is a top-of-the-line reserve from Melville.
