This class project ties in with the subject matter being taught in 1st Grade: mammals! Students worked together to fill in the elephant shape, using stamp pads and their thumbprints to create an Eric-Carlisle-esque work of art. Each student's thumbprint is printed in a different color (color coded thumbprint index also provided). This beautifully framed art piece is also accompanied by a custom puzzle of the same image!
