About Critters N Clay

Critters ‘n Clay™ is a delightful program, taught by Hilary Ford, which integrates science, clay sculpture and children’s literature.  Students will learn interesting facts about a different animal each week, sculpt it out of clay, with step by step instruction, and then hear a story about the “critter du jour.”  Sculptures will be fired and then glazed at the final class.  Most sessions run for 4 classes, where students will sculpt 3 animals and glaze them at the last class.  These "Critters" will make the most wonderful gifts, if your little artist is willing to part with them!
