Sideboard is a casual coffee house and kitchen located on Hartz Avenue in the Old Town of Danville is set in a charmingly restored historical building. An unpretentious cozy meeting place where people come to share our passion for quality hand crafted food and beverage. The Sideboard is the place for good coffee, pastry or light breakfast. A quick bistro lunch, an afternoon rendezvous, or a lingered meal with friends always feeling welcome and special. The Sideboard brings food, service and ambience together to create an experience where exceeding your expectations becomes our greatest reward.

Our dedication to legendary coffee service begins with our guest selecting from a menu of coffee beans which have been sourced from artisan’s hand roasting in small batches. We measure and grind for individual French press or filter drip ensuring the freshest cup possible.  Our master craftsmen baristas taking special care in creating beautiful espresso drinks served European style in porcelain cups returning to sensuality and refinement. Teas and other specialty beverages will also be offered on a daily basis (see menu sample).

Our menus are created taking into account the season and availability with a commitment to natural, organic and sustainable when ever possible. All menu items and condiments are house made or sourced from purveyors who share our vision in creating products which we believe to be the best available. Simply prepared, our rustic comfort food comes from the heart. Signature items will be available daily as well as morning and afternoon menus (see sample menu).

Service starts as guests are greeted as they enter and order at a counter where the menu is easily displayed. Once orders are complete they will be delivered to our guests. Whether you dine in, take out or escape the world on our sidewalk patio the accommodating sideboard staff is there for your needs. Paper products will be used for to go only.
