Description
Take 3 classes with African djembe (drum) and balafone (similar to a xylophone) master, Facinet Bangoura. Classes start at 1 pm every Saturday at Kosmic Shaman in Albuquerque. Learn either instrument. This is for 3 class sessions with other students.
Facinet Bangoura played on KUNM's Afternoon Freeform with host Brandon Kennedy. You can hear him play at www.kunm.org. Select the Two-Week Archive at the top of the page. Then select May 21, 2:30 pm. You'll need to listen a few minutes before Facinet plays. He is playing the balafone.
