Over my years of teaching I have found that every student has different needs. Thus, my guitar lessons are designed to fit each students individual skill level and interests. Students can study Jazz, Folk, Rock, Pop or Classical styles with the main teaching philosophy being that you the student will get to learn and play the type of music that interests you!

I studied with Andrew Bergeron of Folias Flute/Guitar Duo and the Grand Rapids Guitar Quartet, as well as Mark Maxwell of the Maxwell-Waller Guitar Duo. I have participated in master classes with the Grammy-Award winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Goran Ivanovic and Andreas Kapsalis of the Chicago-based AKGI Guitar Duo, Lutenist Hopkinson Smith, and composers Chayna Chernowin and Dai Fujikura.
