The rollicking adventures of Astrid Lindgren's red haired rascal bounds onto the stage at Wheelock Family Theatre! Pippi Longstocking is a delightful character who first appeared in a series of Swedish children's books written in 1945. Pippi’s enduring appeal to young people lies in her strength and resilience in overcoming what could be seen as overwhelming obstacles. She frequently mocks and dupes the adults she encounters; however, she reserves her worst behavior for those who are pompous and condescending. Her exuberance for life and her unconventional free spirit allow her to see herself as the heroine of a great adventure. She’s the strongest girl in the world, there’s a pot of gold in her cupboard, and her best friend is a monkey! Pippi Longstocking is a colorful and fast-paced “tall tale”, sure to entertain all ages.

Seating is limited. Gift certificate valid for the best seats available at the time of the reservation. Additional tickets can be purchased at regular ticket price.

Checks to be made out to FRANKLIN PTO. We will be at Franklin Elementary on Wednesdays (March 13, 20 and 27) at dismissal time to distribute winner’s items and collect payment. Individual arrangements will be made for winners outside of Franklin Elementary and/or who need to charge on their credit card. Winner pays for any shipping required, at USPS First Class rates. All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5% of their bid to cover a portion of the 9% auction transaction fees that are charged to Franklin by BiddingforGood. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
