Description

You are bidding of 4 bottles of assorted wine! They are as follows:

Z-52 2007 Zinfandel Truchard Vineyard Napa Valley (750 ml)

The steep hillside and volcanic soil of Napa Valley's Truchard Vineyard yield a bold Zinfandel with great structure and finesse. Aromas of ripe currant, blackberry and cedar lead to jammy flavors of black cherry and cranberry with a hint of black pepper. Z-52 specializes in the production of small lot, single vineyard zinfandels, a noble pursuit that is rarely played with a full deck of cards.

2010 Jeff Runquist "R" Tannat Silvaspoons Vineyard Alta Mesa-Lodi (750 ml)

Tannat hails from the Basque region of the Pyrenees, but it has found a second home in Lodi

Silvaspoons Vineyard, Alta Mesa, Lodi, California. Tannat is native to the Madiran region of southeastern France, but is has come to fame in South America where it is recognized as the national grape of ruguay. Renown for its substancial tannins, Tannat is often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to help mitigate Tannat’s astringency, our production techniques have produced a robust wine that hints at Tannat’s brawny nature, but delivers a rich flavor with balanced extract and tannins. Tannat is a bit of a departure for us in that the fruit forward nature of the Runquist wines takes a backseat to more terroir driven flavors of smoke, leather and earth along with ripe plums and black fruits. For those of you that  enjoy a Rhone style red this is the wine in the Runquist line up for you.

2007 Omega Mystico Cabernet Sauvignon (56%) Merlot (25%) Petit Verdot (19%) (750 ml)

Fusing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, this clean, balanced and well-made red blend exhibits a nose of cherry, blackberry, and cocoa. Touches of light smoke, cedar and herbal undertones add complexity, while boasting a lingering finish.

2010 C'T'Z'N Zinfandel Rose From The Lucas Valley (750 ml)

Hand crafted small lot wine since 1978 - 108 cases produced. Do not let its strawberry-like color fool you; this is not a white zin. Think, instead, of a traditional, dry European style Rosé with a strawberry and plum flavor structure. Cool fermentation in stainless steel makes this wine crisp and soft but not noticeably sweet.

The structure of our Zinfandel Rosé comes from our winemaker's choice of 15 hours skin time to extract the perfect combination of flavor and color. Followed by a cool fermentation in stainless steel, this wine develops a crisp and soft body without noticible sweetness.

Our Zinfandel Rosé pairs perfectly with spicy foods such as Szechuan and Thai stir fry as well as green salsa-based Mexican dishes and Cajun cuisine. And if you want to kick up your next party a few notches, serve this with buffalo wings and don't be surprised at the "Wow!" from your guests.

The opportunities are endless for this Zinfandel Rosé. Don't be afraid to experiment with this wine; drop a frozen strawberry in your wine glass and sip some by the pool. Just make sure to always keep a bottle in the back of your refrigerator and serve at 40 degrees whenever possible.
