Along the way, you will learn about the early explorers of the Las Vegas Valley and how the Colorado River helped or hindered their exploration. Be prepared to see historical buildings, an actual gold mine, geological wonders, and native desert big horn sheep. Then it is down to Nelson's Landing to board our raft for your Colorado River adventure to Willow Beach.
This tour stops along the shore to give you a chance to enjoy the cool, clear and calm waters of the Colorado River. You might take this opportunity to enjoy the box lunch provided while watching and listening to the sights and sounds of this magnificent desert.
