Evan A. Feigenbaum is Vice Chairman of the Paulson Institute, located at theUniversity of Chicago, and established by former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. He is also Nonresident Senior Associate for Asia at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace,a Washington-based think tank. Dr. Feigenbaum served for eight years at the State Departmentwhere he was twice a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, and an adviser on China toDeputy Secretary of State Robert B. Zoellick, with whom he worked closelyin the development of the U.S.-China senior dialogue.

Richard M. Daley is the formerMayor of Chicago,Illinois. Daley was elected mayor in 1989 and served a total of 22 years before choosing to step down, earning him recognition as the longest-serving mayor of Chicago. Mayor Daleys efforts to promote Chicago as both an international city of commerce and a "China friendly" city began while he was still in office. In his new role as senior advisor to JP Morgan Chase and chairman of the Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of the Brookings Institution and JP Morgan Chase, Daley will help civic and business leaders identify and leverage their citys greatest economic development resources.
