David Axelrod former Democratic political consultant, served as the senior strategist for President Obamas successful campaigns in 2008 and 2012. He worked in the White House as Senior Advisor to the President from January 2009 until February 2011. Prior to serving as a strategist for the Obama Campaign, Mr. Axelrods ASK Public Strategies (now called ASGK Public Strategies), served more than 150 local, state, and national campaigns. David Axelrod will next serve as the inaugural Director of the new Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago.

Jonathan Altercolumnist forBloomberg View,analyst and contributing correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC, is a former senior editor and columnist forNewsweek, where he worked twenty-eight years, writing more than fifty cover stories.
