About the artist:

My passion for painting began at the age of twelve, and for the past forty years, I have used it as a way of chronicling places that have special meaning for me. Living in California, I have the good fortune to be able to access the Sierra Nevada Mountains or the Pacific coast within a few hours. Having my home in the wine country, I can look out my window for inspiration. The joy that painting brings me comes from the appreciation I have for the place and for the moment in which I paint.
