Inspiration: “Everyone loves their dog(s)! I’ve been
painting a lot of dog portraits lately and it seemed
to be a great transition to bring it to an Adirondack
chair.”

About the artist: Lisa Cowan is a mom of four boys and
always had arts and crafts in the home. When her
sons all began to leave for college she decided to
take a painting class to fill some time. Lisa says she
is “relatively self taught” with “no specific style” and
paints with colors, subjects and techniques that she
enjoys…from portraits to landscapes to dogs!
