About the artist: Cindy Jo Dean is a mixed-media
and papier-mache artist living in Kansas City. She
graduated from UMKC with a B.S. in Biology, B.A. in
Psychology and B.A. in Fine Arts. She is “enchanted
by the marvels of metamorphosis, mesmerized
by whirling bees and soothed by the fluttering of
butterflies.” It is her intention to create art that is “life
enriching, immune boosting and promotes giggles”!
