About the artist: Mary F. Devine moved to Kansas in 1997
from Beacon, New York. She says, “I love it out
here, Kansas is home!” She is married to Edward
Devine and has two sons, Corey and Ryan. She
has worked at the Overland Park Botanical Gardens
and Arboretum for five years. She enjoys gardening,
being outdoors, the ocean and painting. Her favorite
things to paint are flowers, suns and moons.
