this winter and then the coming of spring and the
return of the songbirds and other migrants.”
Special Instructions
About the artist: Sandy Longan is a retired horseback riding
instructor. She took up painting and gardening when
she retired from working. These have been lifelong
passions that were put on hold while raising her
family. She stills rides horseback with the Mission
Valley Hunt Club and has horses on her farm in
Stilwell, Kansas.
