About the artist: Michele Pyda-Sevcik is originally from Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania, and relocated to Kansas City
to work as an artist for Hallmark Cards. She currently
works as a freelance designer and painter.
After living overseas, Michele has returned to Kansas City
where she lives with her husband Joe and two daughters—Amanda
(currently attending Cornell University) and Amy (will
be attending the University of Pittsburgh this fall).
