The Golden Gate Bridge was not the only San Francisco institution that celebrated its 75th birthday last yearso did the Stern Grove Festival Association, which hosts 10 concerts among the eucalyptus trees of Sigmund Stern Grove each summer from June to August. Artists recently featured include Roberta Flack, Joan Baez, Glide Cathedral Orchestra, The Family Stone, Les Nubians, Nitin Sawhney and Kailesh Kher. Local institutions the San Francisco Opera, Ballet and Symphony perform each summer. Picnic tables normally require membership ($99 and above) or taking your chances in a lottery. With this item, you will receive a picnic table seat with wine server. Lunch is not included. Parking pass for one car per family also provided. Date is Sunday, July 21. Show is from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with an intermission at 3:00 pm. This show has a pre-show Kid Stage event (time to follow) with a percussionist. For 3 families, kids included.
