Ten lucky families will experience a hands-on introduction to magical world of marine life during the Crab Extravaganza! class. Meet at the Gulf of the Farallones Visitor Center at Crissy Field where a marine science expert will lead a discussion and guide children in a search for shore crabs among the rocks near the warming hut. The tour continues with a trip to the restricted access historic pier located behind the visitors center where children can go crabbingusing crab traps to catch rock crabs. Meet for a picnic lunch at 11:45 am before class begins. Date is May 19 at 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Meet at 11:45 am for lunch. Maximum 10 families, Count Me In - $40 per family, siblings included.
