This wine is a blend of Carmenère, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from 60-to 100-year-old pre-phylloxera vines. Clos Apalta is hand destemmed and produced in a state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery. With limited production, the wine is unfined and unfiltered. Lapostolle has ranked Clos Apalta in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines four times in the last 8 years.
