Description
Surf's Up! Bid to receive surf lessons from Making the Drop Surf School, owned and operated by Mar Vista parent Barry Green (http://makingthedrop.com/). Lessons will be assisted by Mar Vista teachers Mr. J. and Mr. M.
This will be a one-hour experience, and will include surfboard and wetsuit rentals. Participants must be Mar Vista students in grades 2nd-6th, have basic swimming skills and a level of comfort in the ocean with small waves.
There are 6 total biddable spots on the auction. The top bidder of each spot will be awarded the surf lessons.
Special Instructions
All participants must be available for the following dates (no exceptions please):
Saturday March 16th from 10:00-12:30 (primary date), and if swell or weather doesn’t cooperate, our back up will be Sunday March 24th from 10:00-12:30.
Mr. J. or Mr. M. will contact winners to assign either a 10:00-11:00 window or 11:30-12:30 window.
