Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA’s gracious guest house with accommodations for up to six people is the ideal venue for a weekend getaway. The Chrone Cabin provides 3 bedrooms with twin beds, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living/dining room with Cable TV/VCR. A three sided wrap around porch provides a "million dollar view" overlooking Lake Nichecronk. Visit during our conference season (late Aug – Nov and Jan – June) and enjoy a wide range of recreation activities.

Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA, accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), was established in 1948 by a group of New Jersey volunteers from NJ’s Somerset, Union and Morris counties as the first YMCA camp to accept children of all ethnic groups, races, economic backgrounds, religions and nationalities, and today still serves children from throughout the US and around the World.

Nestled around its own 42-acre Nichecronk Lake in 1,100 forested acres of the northeast Poconos, Camp Speers-Eljabar sets a high standard for its campers, ensuring they learn to live by four fundamental values – Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA offers programs for groups and individuals year round as well.
