Dawn Barnes' Karate Kids is a "Life Skills" School that was voted "Best Children's Martial Arts School" by L.A. Daily News. Sensei Dawn Barnes has been teaching karate to children ages 2 to 14 in a love-based environment for more than 20 years. Using the world's first martial arts system specifically designed for children, students learn age appropriate, "playground safe" self-defense skills based on their natural movements to build confidence and increase awareness of their surroundings in a fun, yet challenging way.
