Great Escapes Mustang Sanctuary is a non-profit dedicated to providing a home for mustangs, and fostering connections between mustangs and people. It is roughly 900 acres of rolling prairie and ponderosa pine forest south of Byers, Colorado, about 2 hours from Boulder. In this peaceful land roam several herds of mustangs, including Spanish and American Mustangs. They have complete freedom to live as wild animals, and have that vibrant alert health and beauty.
