Bocchino Vino Rosso del Popolo 2011

This is a wine from Piedmont, Italy by a winemaker named Eugenio Bocchino. He's an organic, biodynamic producer and only makes this wine every two to three years. Eugeneio’s wife, Cinzia, is receiving her PHD in biodynamic farming. It is a blend of their own Nebbiolo (50%) and Barbera (30%), with Dolcetto (20%) purchased from a neighboring vineyard.

Chateau Pesquie Cuvee des Terrasses Cotes du Ventoux 2011

Located in the southern Rhone Valley of France, Chateau Pesquie is an independent estate gathering three generations around the winemakers Alexandre and Frederic Chaudiere. With deep flavors and a great earthiness, this blend of Grenache (70%) and Syrah (30%) is a classic example of a really fine vintage in the Cotes du Rhone.
