Description

As a metal sculptor shaping steel with flame, Sara Balbin's decades long creative path has reflected the diversity of humanity in concert with the natural environment.

This chair was one of just several prototype furniture pieces Sara created over fifteen years ago.  Its form and function reflect her creative exploration of combining glass within her steel sculptures.

"Betsy and Jimmy Johnston originally purchased my "Loon Chair" donation in a Cable Natural History Museum auction.  I have fond memories of Jimmy's annual visits to Dragonfly Studio for art work donations to support the museum's environmental mission."

Once again, through the generosity of Betsy Johnston, "Loon Chair" is offered in the museum's annual fund raising auction.

This is a Live Event Item.
