About the Artist
Lush lava-flows of tropical colors characterize the works of Peruvian Artist Jose Carlos Ramos.
Coming of age in the early 1960's, Ramos embraced a variety of styles and techniques, carving a niche for himself with Japanese wood block printing, and redefining the richly colored themes of his Native culture. His numerous works have been exhibited in top Museums and Collections all over the world, including the United Nations.
