Embrace the sound of music! Enjoy three 30-minute voice or piano lessons (open to all ages) at Malaika Sims Alvaro Studios, West 137th Street. Ms. Alvaro is a soprano, who made her New York Debut at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 1999. She has since sung lead roles in many productions of major national and international houses in opera and musical theater and is the former director of the voice department at the Long Island Conservatory of Music and Arts. Ms. Alvaroholds holds a B.M. from The Julliard School and a M.M. from Manhattan School of Music.
