Matthew H. James is a Brooklyn based artist from Hawaii who has shown and commissioned works around the world from Iceland, Paris, New York, Miami, Manila and Honolulu. He is inspired by images from the Hubble telescope and electron microscopes showing the universal structure formations in nature from a splitting cell to galaxies. Matthew James uses the same process of particle dispersion to create an organic and chemical composition, locked in the moment of creation by resin.
