Description

Music Director Emeritus James Litton offers two (2) one-hour lessons on the organ at the Lawrenceville School, for a young person or an adult.


The Henry Woods Organ in The Edith Memorial Chapel of the The Lawrenceville School was built by the Andover Organ Company of Methuen, Massachusetts in 1968. The organ is Andover's Opus 60 and is one of the prominent organs in the Princeton and Mercer County areas. The organ features a tracker action, 3 manuals (the Great, Swell, and Positiv), 53 stops, 272 virtual pistons, and 63 ranks totaling 3,408 pipes in a chapel with a 2 second reverberation time.
